District of West Tennessee towit
Be it remembered that on the third day of of August in the thirth-fifth year of Independence of the united States of America, Thomas [unclear]G[/unclear]. Bradford of the fair District hath deposited in this office the title of a book the right where of he claims as proprietor in the words following towit -
The Military Instrucctor.
In conformity to the act of Congress of the united States entitled "An Act for the encouragement of learning by Securing the copies [inserted]of maps charts & Books to the authors [unclear]the[/unclear] proprietors of Such Copies --[/inserted] during the terms therein mentioned, And also an act "Supplementary to an act entitled an act for the encouragement of learning by Securing the Copies of maps charts and books to the authors and proprietors of such copies dureing the times therein mentioned, and extinding the benefits thereof, to the acts of designing engraving and etching historical and other prints.
