District of West Tennessee towit Be it remembered that on ninth day of June in the thirty third year of the Independence of the United States of America. Thomas Grayson Bradford of the said District, hath deposited in this office the Tittle of a book the right whereof he claims as proprietor in the words following towit : "A Reversal of all the public acts of the State of North Carolina, and of the State of Tennessee, now in force in the State of Tennessee", revised in the winter of 1809, by John Haywood Esqr. Attorney at law, and formerly a Judge of the Superior Courts of North Carolina. In conformity to the act of Congress of the united States entitled "an act for the encouragement of [unclear]learing[/unclear] by securing the copies of maps, charts, and books to the authors and proprietors of such copies during the times therein, mentioned. District of West Tennessee towit Be it Remembered that on the ninth day of April in the thirty fourth year of the Independence of the united States and in the year 1810, Thomas Greayson Bradford of the said District hath deposited in this office the title of a book the right whereof he claims as proprietor in the words fololowing towit The duty of and authority of Justices of the Peace in the State of Tennessee compiled by John Haywood Esquire Attorney at law. In conformity to the act of Congress of the united States entitled an Act for the encouragement of learning by Securing the copies of maps charts and books to the authors and proprietors of such copies during the times therein mentioned and extending the benefits through [deleted]April 19th, 1870[/deleted] to the acts of designing engraving and Etching historical and other prints [signed][unclear]Robt. In conformity to the act of Congress of the united States entitled "An Act for the encouragement of learning by Securing the copies [inserted]of maps charts & Books to the authors [unclear]the[/unclear] proprietors of Such Copies --[/inserted] during the terms therein mentioned, And also an act "Supplementary to an act entitled an act for the encouragement of learning by Securing the Copies of maps charts and books to the authors and proprietors of such copies dureing the times therein mentioned, and extinding the benefits thereof, to the acts of designing engraving and etching historical and other prints. District of West Tennessee To Be it Remembered that on the nineteenth day of March in the thirty fifth year of the Independence of the united States of America William [unclear]B Lewis[/unclear] of the Said District hath deposited in this office the title of a map the right whereof he claims as author in the words following towit "A new & Correct map of the Mississippi Territory, west Florida, a Small part of East Florida, and Georgia, with all that part of the State of Tennessee west of the Cumberland mountain together with the City and Island of New Orleans by William B. Lewis." In conformity to the Act for the encouragement of learning by securing the Copies of Maps Charts and books to the Authors & proprietors of Such Copies during the term therein mentioned, and also to an act entitled an act Supplementary to an act entitled an act for the encouragement of learning by Securing the copies of Maps Charts and books to the Authors and proprietors of such copies during the term therein mentioned, and extending the benefits through to the acts of designing engraving and etching historical and other prints.
