Cool. Left office early with
the Gov & came out to
play croquet. Gilbert &
Charley Griffin to dinner.

SUNDAY, 11
Fine day. Didn't go to church.
Edwards of 63d to lunch.
Took a walk with Alick
in the evening. Fred
Hammond & Crawford to
tea. Walked down to the
boathouse.

Fine day. Went to Bothwell
by 12.40 train on
business. Rode about the
Wells, saw Col. Cross & C & C
& came home by night
express 11.30 p.m.

TUESDAY 13
Cool day. C.C. sittings
commenced.Wrote to
Dick. Came out home from
office about seven.

WEDNESDAY, 14
Cool day and windy. Played
1/4 game of Croquet before dinner.
Saunders out & going to leave
London tomorrow. Pease
up here, served him with the
writ & notice of sale.
