Having visited and
carefully examined the coal mines
of Messrs H. L. Marsh & Co in
Livingston County, Illinois, I
am glad to be able to confirm the
statement made in this
prospectus; and I hope
you may be successful in
the effort to bring this
valuable fuel into market
in such quantities as
to reduce materially the present
excessive prices.
