This paragraph gives rise to the question whether B. B. & D. are to pay preliminary costs or only such as may arise upon the procurement of such additional proofs as B. B. & D. may require.
If I am to seek payment from the parties, it is obviously proper to ask it at once, but if B. B. & D. are to pay them I have no occasion
