The following resolution offered by Mr. Brown was adopted

Resolution for the use of the Armory by the Monticello Guard

RESOLVED, That use and control of the Armory by the Monticello Guard
(Company K, 116th, Inf. N. G.) shall be follows:

(1) Said Company have exclusive use and control of the locker
room and of all portions of the building entered through the Northwest door, and the
Commanding Officer of said Company and his subordinates as he may designate, only
sahll have keys to the locker room and to said Northwest door and to other portions
committed to the Company's exclusive use as above.

(2( Said Company shall have the use of the other portions of the Armory
on Friday Evening of wach week after six o'clock P. M., and, if deemed necessary
by the commanding officer, on Tuesday evening of each week after six o'clock P. M.
Whenever the Company is called for duty, municipal, state or national, or for ceremony,
the commanding Officer may use and take charge of these other portions of the Armory
for such time as seems to him necessary, and any other engagment or use shall be
subject to such use by the Company when called. Keys to these portions, not committed
to the exclusive use of the Company, shall be in charge of the City Manager and of the
Commanidng Officer of the Company and such others as either may designate.

(3) Use and control committed to the Company as aforesaid is revocable at
any time by the Council upon ninety days notice to the Commanding Officer.

(4) The City Manager is authorized to permit the use of the Armory, or
portions thereof, by others, subject to use by the Military Company as heretofore
committed.

(5) Inporvements authorized shall be in charge of the City Manager,
but it is exoected that he will arrange so that the work may proceed without delays
and at the same time proper protection shall at all times be afforded for the Company's
equiipment.

(6) When the contemplated improvements shall have been completed, the
Company shall have exclusive use and control of the first story and basement of the
new addition, except entrance hall, the toilet room, and kitchen, and the boiler room,
and also exclusive use and control of the strong room in the Northeast corner of the
present building, and keys to these portions shall be exclusively in charge of the
Commanding Officer and his subordinates, and the permission granted in paragraph
(1) hereif will then be void with the following exception, the keys to the North
West door or to some othe entrance to remain under direct controll of the Commanding
Officer or other persons designated by him, this door proving ingress and egress to
the room on second floor of main building which are proposed to be used as Club rooms
for the National Guard, exclusively, but all other provisions hereof shall remain
in forceand effect.

(7) Cost of light and heat and water and janitor service and all repairs
and upkeep shall be born by the City, except in these portions which may be utilitzed
by the Company for recreational and club purposes, and costs in those portions shall
be borne by the Company.

(8) This resolution lsto be effective from November 15th, 1922.
