MAR., 1931 APRIL SUN 29 Mary Ellan & I went to church. Harold & I went to tea at McIlwraiths.

MON 30 typing.

TUES 31 Della & neighbors in for tea. Mrs. Rawst[?] Skelton, Werry & Bellam[?] Went to St. Matthe[?] Passion aat Convocation Hall in evening.

WED 1 APRIL

THUR 2 Mrs. Creighton & I went to Loew's to see Greta Garbo. Mary Ellan went to school with Donald

FRI 3 Good Friday Took Hugh out.

SAT 4 Took children to barber's & to shop. Took Hugh out.

APRIL, 1931

SUN Easter 5 children hunted eggs. Took M.E. to church & Hugh for a walk. lovely day.

MON 6 Took Hugh & M.E. to A. & P.

TUES 7 went downtown. got printed crepe for dress. sewing machine fixed.

WED 8

THUR 9 Went to tea at Mrs. Rawsthorn's. Mrs. Stevens & Mrs. Skelton there.

FRI 10 Harold & I went to U.C. tea at Croft Chapter house. saw lots of people.

SAT 11 I went to handkerchief shower for Lois at Enid's. lovely time.

APRIL, 1931

SUN 12 read to them all afternoon

MON 13 a most lovely birthday. flowers & ice cream - candles and all. such a happy time.

TUES 14 went to club meeting at Mrs. Creightons. Read "Badgers Green".

WED 15 met Harold & we went to see C. Chaplin in "City Lights". splendid.

THUR 16 Took M.E. to du[?] store: lovely day Reading "Mansfield Park".

FRI 17 went to club to lecture on short story.

SAT 18 Mrs Urwick took children & me to market bought rhubarb, honey, apples, lettuce etc.

April, 1931

SUN 19 Mary Ellan & I went over to look at excavation for Avenue Road.

MON 20 Donald in bed with severe cold and cough.

THUR 23 Donald has pneumonia. have nurse.

FRI 24 D. very sick.

SAT 25 D. better. Dr. here every day. H. lecture in Convocation Hall. splendid audience

APRIL, 1931, MAY

SUN 26 rain all day

MON 27 Donald much better.

TUES 28 Mother came. So glad!. Nurse left at night.

WED 29 Took Hugh out in sun. Talked. Mother brought wonder ful Chinese things.

THUR 30 Mother went downtown. At nght she & I went to club to lecture on CzechoSlovakia.

FRI 1 MAY I went downtown Donald sat in chair for 10 min.

SAT 2 Mother & I took M.E. & Hugh to A. & [?] lovely day.
