Mr. Stanislas' Benefit.

On Saturday Evening, March 3d. Will be presented (1st time at this theatre) the Historical Melo Drama called the Forest of Bondy Or The Dog of Montargis. Capt. Aubri Mr. Monie[r] Macaire Porter Laudry Morrison Seneschal Simpon Gen. Gontram Bard Blaize Mr. Mestayer Florio Mrs. Riddle Lucille Mrs. Monier Dame Gertrude Mrs. Mestayer The Dog of Montargis, by the celebrated Dog Vulcan. In the la[s]t scene of the first Act, The cruel Murder of Aubri. After the Drama, the following Entertainments: The admired Echo Song, by Mrs. Allen. Recitation, Daniel vs. Dishclout, by Mr. Simpson. Comic Song, Paddy M'Shane's Seven Ages, By Mr. M'Cleary. The whole to conclude with a Variety of Mechanical Deceptions, By Mr. Stanislas, Who will for this Night Only, give his celebrated NEC Plus Ultra, The most interesting and impenetrable Secret in the arcana of Philosophical Illusions. The Exhibitor will borrow from any person present, Shawls, Pocket Handkerchiefs, Watches, Hats, &c. which articles, at command, will disappear from before the eyes of the Spectators, and will be found in any part of the city, not exceeding one mile, in Chimnies, Public Edifices, Apartments, &c. &c.

Or, in a word, in any place that may be reqired by the mpany. To do away every impression of a confederacy, those deputed by the audience for the purpose of bringing the articles from the places so ordered, shall be chosen by a majority of votes present, and a Carriage will be in waiting for the purpose of conveying them. To enlarge on this truly surprising and astonishing illusion, would be unnecessary, as the idea presented is so incredible, it requires all the dignity of man to believe even after having seen - that there was a possibility of performing it, without the aid of supernatural influence.

Enchanted Lady. Mr. Stanislas will, by his Magic powers, convey any Lady in the company into a Box placed on one of his Tables, previously examined by the audience and found to contain nothing. - It changes to a Pedestal, And the Lady Emerges from the Centre. This Deception alone, to the credulous, would make fancy paint in the liveliest colours, the assistance of a supernatural agent.

On Tuesday next, the Grand Drama called, the Lady of the Lake, for the Benefit Mr. Mestayer.

Price of Admission - Box, 50 Cents - Pit, 25 Cents - Gallery, 25 Cents.

Doors open at 6, and the curtain will rise at 7 o'clock, precisely.]
