Queenie gave a fine birthday dinner for Ethel. I left at 7:30 got 8 train. Came up to apt [apartment] by bus. No empty cabs

Stayed in N.Y. Mr. M from 5 to 9

[January 17, 1967] Left N.Y. at 4:30 with Rebecca. [Pola] did not go, and I held Lisa. She is adorable.

[January 18th, 1967] Lou had to have Pat put to sleep + she is really undone. She came to dinner + Mr. B dropped in later + we saw two good shows, one Cinderella.

Prisco to N.Y. ticket $2.50 found checks from Lesser World Artists 14 2krs shoes half soled $7.00 ordered staples 8 from Madison Exchange paid [?] $3.30 phoned Dr. Levey's office phoned Mrs Dolan

Rehearsal at 11:30 Hilton Ball Room for Starer work with Orchestra and Chorus P.M. at Carnegie finished at 2.45 taxis Pauline came and had dinner in and retired at a decent hour

Puchased copies in Bridgeport at Frank McShire + Son 600 Fairfield Ave. ($87.96) Freibe drove Pauline + me. Arrived home at 7 + Lou was waiting. He had [got?] items at King Cole + picked up bar. I [?] chickens. Very good dinner call from Reiterbaud
