Director - Nuclear Reactor Project

We should like to request permission to appoint Martin Allan Welt, as Director of the Nuclear Reactor Project effective July 1, 1964. Mr. Welt has been Acting Director of the Project for the month of April. He came to North Carolina State as an Instructor in September, 1963 (?), and is included in the list of promotions effective July 1, 1964, for promotion to an Assistant Professor. He currently receives a salary of $7,200 for nine months from College funds, but will begin work on a twelve-months contract effective July 1.

Assistant Director of Foundations
