Dear David,

I hope you are feeling better than
you sounded on the telephone. Your
enthusiasm level is really at the
bottom of the barrel.

I really feel that we must
move ahead rapidly with decisions
related to number of pieces, sculpture
vs paintings, actual selections, dimensions,
titles and the specific approach in
analysis of the works based on our original
criteria.

As you will see from the slides, several
pieces look alike, some artists favor
each other, etc. Although I haven't
received them all, because I am trying
to get a set to you & to Henry, it would
seem that serious cuts should be
made. I'll leave that up to you [double underscored] two [end of double underscored]

I have advertised for an exhibition
designer. He will need the exact
pieces to determine the layout in
Gallery Two. There's the possibiliity
that the art component will extend
into the sculpture court area. This
means designing different kinds of
wall systems to separate it from
the entry - historical part.
