Dear David,
I hope things are going well there with the show. I know the passing of your father caused quite an adjustment, however I feel that the strength he left as a legacy to you and those around will sustain the sadness of his physical departure. I know I will always remember a tall, lean black man of dignity strolling in the quiet woods and fields. A man posessing an inner quiet, knowing and acceptance. He will always be in my memory as one those who have shared their light to a restless soul on his journey too. How fortunate you must be to have had such a companion during your travels and how fortunate he lived to see his male seedling from the hills of North Carolina stride the continents of the world.
Love,
Carl Earl?
