Dear Brother of mine -

Cora received your
letter - written the day after Christmas -
yesterday; we were right glad to hear
from you; your letters do not
come as often as they did last winter
and are therefore more precioius.

Did you make New Years calls?
We had one; Frank rode out last night,
and returned this morning; He is not well
that old cough is troubling him
again.

This is a glorious morning; clear
and bright, and quite cold.

I hope you will enjoy Fathers
visit a great deal.

Mr Chase did not come home
yesterday much to our disappointment
we expected him Christmas, and
thought surely he would come
