We have had some demonstrations of rockets
lately, very pretty. These are fired out of a
gun - and some of them make the
whole country side as bright as day - its very
pretty work.
Our pay came today and I expect to send home
$100.00 soon - I had $80 left from last pay day.
It's very cool here now and getting up a 5am
is bright or dark & early this morning Sunday
we were allowed to sleep 1/2 hr later & it seemed
late at 530 AM. All windows must be kept
shut here on account of raids.
My love to all & let Mr. Snowden send a note in
thy next letter. Heres hoping that La guerre finise -
and I'll see you all in a year or so -
