A cold windy day: Father came home from Washington, where he went
yesterday from Rockville: Joe to Brooke Grove at night

2d.
A cold windy day; at meeting. Phil here to dinner. William at Mary Chandlee's
to dinner, and Samuel Turners to supper: James Brooke here in
the afternoon: father at Aunt Sallys after supper.

3d. 80 biscuit
A clear pleasant day: father called at Uncle Samuel's in the morning;
he and Joe and Hallowell Farquhar at Joe's place putting up a threshing
Machine; Hallowell here to dinner; R. and G. Tucker here at work
William Stabler and Bennie Miller here to supper, went with our boys
to Frank Thomas's husking; William here all night; I put a quilt in frame

4th
Snowed all morning; cleared off about noon; Annie Porter, Sarah
Thomas and Ella Gilpin here helping quilt; William Kinnard came after
supper: William took Ella home.
