A cold windy day; we started at seven from Walnut Grove
go to Uncle Samuels at half past 11; dined there, and came
home about 3 oclock;

13th. 98 biscuit.
A beautiful clear day; father went to Willie Bonds for
cousin Joe and Nannie Pleasants, and Pattie Brooke to
spend the day with us; they left again at half past 4;
Aunt Lizzie called a while late in the afternoon; Kate here
awhile; Lucy, Mary and myself took a walk after the company
left; Joe went to Rockville to the Fair; after supper
Lucy, Mary, William and myself went to Harewood; Joe and Phil
came on their return from the Fair. father went to the lower
place and to the Cottage after dinner; to the latter place to see Mary Porter
