A clear day; Lucy spent the day and night at Brooke Grove
Father came home from Marlborough: I went to Sherwood
in the afternoon.

15th.
A clear day: I spent the day at Uncle Samuels, old Jimmey
Mc Donald begun the wash house chimney; Joe at
William Scofields raising. John Willson got a Reaper.
Joe finished the road opposite his place yesterday.

16th.
Clear in the morning; rained in the afternoon, and cleared
off again about evening. I went to Sherwood after dinner
and had to stay until the rain was over; father at Higgins
and to James Stones to supper.
