A bright beautiful day; Joe better; Father started before
I was up in the morning to go to the Widow Burfords,
went to several other place, at the Cottage to supper: Lucy and I
went to the store in the morning; I went to Cherry Grove and
to Phils in the afternoon; Lucy at Uncle Edwards: Lizzie
Tyson, Harvey George, and Ginnie Fawcett called here, and
Charlie Stabler; Frank Thomas here to supper.

24th.
A beautiful clear day; Father went to Rockville; Lucy
spent the day at Brooke Grove: Lizzie Tyson and Martha
Lea, called in the morning to bring a book for Joe to read.
