Dear Mother,

I received your
letter last week, & was very
glad to hear from you.

I enjoyed Amy's visit to Miss
Joe very much, & wish she
could have stayed longer.
We had such very disagreeable
weather all the time
she was here. I am delighted
to hear that she is going
to Balto for such a long
visit. I am sure she will
enjoy it. I intended to go
to see her while there,
if possible. We are having
lovely spring weather now.
I hope it will continue.
