2nd 12 Read this morning, went up to the store
in the afternoon to get my boot mendid.
Mother and I went down to Uncle Bobs
in the evening.

3rd 13 I went up to Cousin Samuels Ellicoots
for Aunt Hannah & also to Cousin Charly
Idings to look at a cow. He came down
in the evening to look at ours. Father traded
Bell off for one of his and gave him $35.00
boot.

4th 14 Bob & I took Bell up to Ashton and met
Cousin Charly with his cow there, we brought
it home and I made a pen for it & the calf

5th 15 Alice Underwood stoped here this morning
on her way home. The stage could not
go to Laurel as the roads were too bad
I took up her some wood for Uncle Evan
and put in 8 panes of glass down at
Bobs house. Bob took 3 barrels of corn down to Celshner

6th 16 Bob and I sheled eight bushels of corn this
morning. I took it up to the mill in
the afternoon Roads were frozen hard.

7th 17 Sister and I went skating Brooks Dam
in the afternoon. Mother & Father went
up to a lecture in the evening. Father and us children
went down to the branch and caught 9 large sucors bystriking the ice above them, this morning
