5] Mariana Miller read of some of Annies experiences while traveling in North Africa.

Mary Nichols contribution was about the beauties of Old Pewters.

Helen Farquhar advised us to hold fast to old standards – we can not reverse the moral laws.

Helen Hallowell told of the Expedition Ship – City of New York – now in Washington and may be visited at certain hours each day.

Mary Robison’s selection was by Margaret Sangster on Easter Weather.

Elizabeth Dorsey and Mrs. Pucket were without contributions

Estelle T. Moore and Helen Hallowell were appointed Delegates with Mary Magruder and Helen Shoemaker as their alternates to the Annual Meeting of the Maryland Federation of Women’s Clubs.

Article 3 of the revision of the Constitution of the Md Fed W. Clubs – making the dues 50c per member was approved.

Article 8 – making the term of office three years instead of two – was lost

The 21 resolutions were not considered as all required much study before an intelligent vote could be taken on them.

Helen Hallowell was selected to represent Association in the Woman’s Bord of the Montgomery County Genl. Hospital.

Mrs Hough was declared a member to fill the vacancy on the active list.

Communications relating to the Encyclopedia Brittanica were noted but no action taken.

The reports of the Community Council was read – Feb. and March – and accepted.

Oak Grove Meeting 6-4-1931 held at the Community House 882d meeting

Luncheon was served at half-past twelve and after a social hour the 882d meeting of the Mutual Improvement Association was called to order by Mary Hutton, at the Community House 6-4-1931 at two o'clock.

The minutes of the last Oak Grove Meeting - also held at the Community House - were read - and the minutes of the last meeting - at Rose Hill - read and approved.

The Treasurers Report - On hand $37.40 - with $12.25 for the Social Services League
