I went to meeting & heard
two excellent sermons, from Edwd
Farquhar first & followed by a
woman friend Martha Townsend.

Mon. July 13th, 1896.

Old Chas Hammond was here
for advice etc. before I was up, he having
been bitten by a horse. Martha
T Moore was here with two of
her children. "William" & "Elizabeth"
for advice & medicine for both.
I drove over to see B Sheckels
again, and to see Anice Hill's
infant. Called at Ashton.
Went to the mill for flour and
horse feed. Cousens Clara
Leadbeater & Hannah Chandler
called in afternoon.
We heard of the death of Mr
James Duck: he died at the
sea shore where he had gone
for his health, Mrs Ellicott
(his sister) & her daughter were
with him.
