Still another hot day. I went

for Julia Green & a "certificate"
to her "Society". T.S.Stabler
called before & after dinner.
Towards evening W and Fanny
Dora & Edward went over to
"Riverside" to tea by invitation.
After supper I walked up to
N.F.Fairalls & smoked a pipe
with him.

"Mary Rose" or Carr "from near Spencerville
was here for advice & medicine.
Frank horse was lame and
I took him to Ashton to J Marlow
& had his shoe remove etc. without
any aparent benefit. Afternoon
I washed the phaeton. Edward
received new tire for his bicycle
and put it on: he rode with a
party from Mrs Ellicotts to a
"picnic" on the Paturpent going
on his bicycle. After supper I
walked up to Hendersons.
I was at the store & P.O. both
morning & afternoon.
Carrier Fuller was here after
I had gone upstairs to bed, for
advice & medicine.
