SAT. FEB. 15th, 1896

Clear & frosty again. Recd
letter from Dr. Joseph Koerper
Willie & Fanny came about 5 o' clk
pm. I went up to the store for
coal oil. Many persons are
suffering with colds & grippe.
I have been feeling badly
with rheumatic pains in my
shoulders & hips. Willie is
feeling miserable with some
throat & general "wretchedness".
They have all been more or
less under the weather at
"Fairfield" Fanny also having
sore throat etc.

Wind. Variable. Cloudy & Clearing. Ther. 32o
SUN. FEB. 16th, 1896

Rain & sleet & snow at intervals
all day until towards evening.
when it cleared off with a strong
wind from N.W., and became
much colder. Thermometer
going down to 28 at sun down.
Willie & Fanny went back to
"Fairfield" about 4 o 'clock.
We had our turkey gobbler for
dinner, he weighed 17 1/2 lbs
including the neck & gizzard.
After supper Tom Love came
to get Edward to help him with
his Geometry Examples.
