Ther. 64. Wednesday SEPT. 12th,, 1894 S.E. Wind

Still cool & pleasant. Sarah Stabler called
to see Sister Harriet. I drove over to Riverside
to see Bro. Richard again, calling at "Eldon" to
leave some money for Hallie Lea for Sister H.
I also called to see Lydia Ann Budd as
I came home. The cousins Hannah & Ellie
Chandlee spent last night with us and
went this morning down to Bloom field.
Afternoon friend Samuel Thomas came
& took Sister Harriet to their house to make
a little visit. Edward & Dora went to
"Riverside" to a meeting of the Hortocultural
Society.

Delightful autumn weather
Afternoon Edward went to "Inglesides"
and brought his Aunt Harriet home.
Mrs. S Ellicott & daughter, Bessie Robison
& Miss Crosby took tea with
us by invitation. Gilbert T Smith's
colored man was here for me to go
to see Isabella Warfield in the old
Caleb Pumphrey house. I was called
in to prescribe for Old John Oldfield.
and prescribed for him. After supper
Edwd and I walked home with Mrs Ellicott
& Miss Sally.

Ther. 68 Friday SEPT. 14th,, 1894 SW. & SE Wind.

Considerably warmer to day. Wm
Easton (father of Harry Easton) was at the
office with his right hand in a very bad
condition having symptoms of "erysipelas".
Margt G T Moore sent a servant with a note
asking for advice & medicine. I took sister
Harriet to "Eldon" & left her there & drove
over to see Isabella Warfield. & home to
dinner. Afternoon I went to the mill and
got a bag of horse feed.

Ther. 67° Saturday 15th,, S. E. Wind.

It rained a good shower about
2. o clock this a.m. but cleared off before
sunrise & has been quite hot
all day. Edwd went in the surry to
"Eldon" taking home a bed stead that
belonged to Sister B. & brought sister
H home with him. Bro Chas. came
& took dinner with us. Afternoon E
went to "Cloverley" for a music lesson.
After supper Dora & Edwd went in next
door to meet Miss Amy Crosby & S Ellicott
& play "Monkey in sight."
