Coudy & Clearing
Ther. 39° Fri. Feb 3, 1893 N.W. Wind

Still cloudy & threatning
rain, until after noon when it
partly cleared off with high wind
from N.W. I drove down to see
Mr C M Colts little son again
"Phil" going with me. Alice
& Fanny Peirce came & dined
with us. I walked up to "Marden"
but found no one at home
but servants. Mr C. M. Colt
came to see me about dusk
& I loaned him my clinical
thermometer.

Clear.
Ther 18o SAT. APRIL 4th 1893 Wind N.W.

A sudden change in weather.
It is cold to day with high N.W.
wind blowing. I walked to Ashton
to Mr. C M Colts, he came back
with me for medicine &c. Rachael
Cash paid me $2.00 (on acct) at Ashton
stopping me on the road to do so.
Mr Colt's little boy is a very sick
child, but fortunately they have a
Miss E. Lee (an intimate friend of
the family) who is an experienced
"trained nurse", & has kindly come
to take care of the little fellow
which is everything, almost in his
favor, it is a great relief to my mind.
After supper I walked up to the
store. "Gus" Hopkins was here
& paid me his bill.
