After supper Willie & I walked up to Sandy Spring store for coal oil. 30 Cloudy. S.E. Ther. Thurs.Dec. 17, 1885 Wea. Mrs Elijah Leizear here for treatment & advice. I drove to Ashton for C at dinner time. W rode to school on horseback. After dinner I drove C down to Ashton with the mail. Put glazed sash in the "garden house". Dora went to Chas: Stabler's (on foot) to a "Better Aquainted" going "to tea". Willie to go after her in the evening.
