Monday Nov 4th Clear
Went to S.S. and to the office. Afternoon
went to Mrs. Johnson's. Kate Stabler
and Mrs. Chalfant called.

Went to Mechaniesville to the
election for congressman from the
6th District. Sister Beulah, Fanny and
her children spent the day with us.
Hallie coming after then about
sundown.

Wednesday Nov 6th
Went to office before dinner. AFternoon
ground axe and cut down white oak
tree in the road to the stable. Henry
Millers team brought us a cord of
pine wood. Ernest called for advice
and medicine.
