Sec. 3. Any person of persons violating any of the
provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined
in the sum of not less than one dollar nor more than
fifty dollars, or be imprisoned for not less than one
nor more than thirty days.

An Ordinance to Prohibit the Selling, Swapping or
Exhibiting for Sale or Exchange of Horses and
Mules Upon the Streets of the City of Greenville.

Section 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Aldermen of
the City of Greenville in Council assembled and by the
authority of the same, That hereafter it shall be unlawful
for any person or persons to sell, barter or exchange
or display, or exhibit for the purpose of sale or exchange,
any horse or mule upon any of the streets of the
City of Greenville.

Sec. 2. Any person or persons violating any of the
provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined
in the sum of not less than one dollar nor more than
fifty dollars or be imprisoned for not less than one day
nor more than thirty days.
