On motion of Ald Gaskin seconded by Ald Anglin
Ordered, That the petition of Captain Frank
Patterson be referred to the Court of Revision
Ald Pense brought up the petition of Joseph Northmore
on the subject of paying. a license for delivering bread
in the City.
On motion of Ald Pense seconded by Ald Wilson
Ordered, That the petition of Joseph Northmore
be referred to the Committee on licenses to report at next
meeting
Ald McIntyre brought up the petition of Mrs
Macaulay and two other ladies. Members of the Relief
Association praying the City Council will take measures
to secure the continuance of the work at present given &c
On motion of Ald McIntyre seconded by Ald McGuire
Ordered, That the petition of Mrs Macaulay and
others be referred to the Committee on Finance and
accounts to report
Ald McIntyre brought up the petition of George M
Macdonnell and 15 others praying the Council will
supplement then grant of $200 which is expended
by a further grant of the same amount to be laid out
in giving employment to the men who are in need
On motion of Ald McIntyre seconded by Ald McMahon
Ordered, That the petition of GM Macdonnell be
referred to the Committee on Streets to report
Ald Gasksin from the Committee on finance and
Accounts brought up a Report (Number 757 Book D No 2)
which was read and adopted
The Chairman from the Committee on Streets and

which was read and adopted
