A meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kingston was held this
day.

From L. Dodson and others Clerks of Municipalities re: Petitions to
Parliament and Legislative Assembly. Referred to the Committee on Finance &c.

From Stewart Houston acknowledging the return of Petition Re: Royal
Artillery Band. Referred to Committee on Finance &c.

From George Thompson Collector of Taxes remission of Taxes by Court of
Revision. Referred to the Committee on Finance &c.

From F.W. Fiske re ornamental fountains for Parks &c. Referred
to the Committee on Parks.

From Alexander Duncan applying for the position of Caretaker of the
Midland Central Fair Grounds. Referred to the Committee on City Property &c.

From W.L. Gordon Secretary of the Board of Health re: constructing drains.
Referred to the Board of Works.

From John Blevins City Clerk Toronto re: management of Parks. Referred to the
Committee on Parks.

From L.O. David, City Clerk Montreal re: management of Parks. Referred to the
Committee on Parks.

From James Minnes and David Murray Liquidators of the Midland
Agricultural Assoc asking that it will be now convenient for the City to hand
over a cheque for amount of Purchase Money otherwise it will be necessary to charge
interest at 6% from the date until payment is made. Referred to the Committee
