Dear Sir
I rec'd your fav'r of 4th Curr'tt with yours & Ladys very kind invatation of Mr
Lloyd & myself to accompany you to South Carolina this Fall, it would give us
both the greatest pleasure imaginable, but will not be in our power to take so
agreeable an opportunity, want of health for some time past has put me upon
thinking of spending a winter in a milder Climate but (thank Gond) it being
in a great measure restor'd & Business at this season coming in obliges me to
give over the thoughts, we were in hopes as you are so near us you would have
done your freinds the pleasure of extending your tour to this place, which need
not say would have been a great pleasure to all your friends, & to none more
then to myself & Mrs Lloyf who joyins me in our best Comp'ts to you & your good Lady
I am with the greatest Esteem
Your most hum'l Serv't
PS: I sent you y'e begining of this month 6 2'tt best
