I wrote Mr Bowler lately that Mascovado
Sugars were in demand, which I now confirm, those but little better then
midoling fetch 48/ Lawful money Cash, believe the best would sell for 53/4
I have not known them so scarce since I kept a Warehouse in Boston as
at this time, Mr. Bowler mention'd if Sugars kept up yoru intention of
sending a parcell you expected from Jamaica to my care occasions my
writing to you joyntly, I am with tender of my best service

the pleasure of a visit or two, mine & the Indisposition of both my Nephews
obliging us to shut up the Warehouse for two or three days prevented us
the pleasure of shewing & his Companions the Town & other Civilities due to
any of your friends, hope youl prevail with Mr. Mumford to make
good the Interest he unjustly witholds on his note, I am
