AL padre al figlio al spirito sancto
Per ogne seculo sia gloria e honore

Pieta misericordia e caritade

{The Globe, a Poem by Goro Dati}

HERE BEGINS
BRUNETTO LATINI
GREETING

To the Father, to the Son, to the Holy Spirit,
Through every century let there be glory and honor,
And let His name be blessed, as much as
every creature has strength:
Let it be praised and thanked in every song
With pure mind and with devout heart,
And let His goodness
Pity, mercy, and charity be proclaimed.

{Invocation}

Sweet Lord, open my lips,
Illuminate my heart with your light,
And let my mouth declare your ways,
Full of praise; and always be my guide
And come to me and be my aid,
With your grace that drives the world
Let my words be consolation and fruitbearing
of all those who understand such a framework?

{Prologue}

To every gentle heart and pure mind,
Who wishes to understand the rules
by which Nature is governed
From a beginning which first caused it
so that each creature has its own form,
quality, and condition
I say they read the following verses,
Calling out for God with attentive souls.

GREETINGS

To the Father to the Son to the Holy Spirit,
For every century be glory and honor,
And blessed be his name as much
All creatures have value:
Praised and thanked in every song
With pure mind and with devout heart,
And confessed to be his goodness,
Pity, mercy and charity.

{Petition}

Sweet Soveriegn, open my lips,
Illuminate my heart with your light,
And let my mouth proclaim your ways
Full of praise; and always be my lord
And with authority guide me and let me be
With your grace that leads the world
My speach is both a consolation and a fruit
to all those who understand such a framework?

{Prologue}

To every gentle heart and pure mind,
Who wishes to understand the rules
by which Nature is governed
From a beginning which first caused it
so that each creature has its own form,
quality, and condition
I say they read the following verses,
Calling out for God with attentive souls.
