Mr Jones moved that the Committee on Tablet
be directed authorized and empowered to
procure plans, and estimates as to the
cost and expense of the erection of said tablet,
which motion was duly seconded and
adopted by the Board
[inserted] Election of
Auditor [end inserted] Mr Foster moved that L M Jewett be
elected as Auditor and Secretary of this
Board for the ensuing year at a salary of
$500.00 per year , and there being no other
candidate that Alston. Ellis as President of
this Board be authorized , directed and instructed
to cast the unanimous ballot of this Board
for L M Jewett as Auditor and Secretary of this
Board which motion was duly seconded and
adopted, and thereupon said Alston.Ellis as such
President cast the unanimous ballot of this
Board for L M. Jewett, as Auditor and Secretary
thereof for the ensuing year at a salary of $500. 00
per year ,and thereupon the Chair declared that
Mr Jewett had been unanimously elected as
Auditor and Secretary of this Board for the
ensuing year at a Salary of $500.00 per year

Treasurer [end inserted] Mr Foster moved that A. J.
Frame be elected as Treasurer of the Ohio
University , for the ensuring year at a salary of
$800. 00 year , and there being no other candidates
that Alston Ellis as Chairman of this Board
be authorized, directed and instructed to cast the
unanimous ballot of the Board for A.J Frame
as Treasurer of the Ohio University for the ensuing
year , at a salary of $800. 00 per year,and thereupon
said Alston. Ellis as such Chairman cast the
unanimous ballot of this Board for A.J .Frame
as Treasurer of the OHio University for the ensuing
Year at a salary of 800$ per year, and
thereupon the Chair declared that A. J. Frame
