An annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
Ohio University was held this day and at the hour
above named at its Office in Ewing Hall in Athens Ohio
after due and legal notice had been given in writing

Board 1904 [end inserted] by the Secretary to all of the members of the Board.
President Alston-Ellis in the Chair. A call of the roll
showed the following members of the Board present Alston
Ellis. V. C. Lowrey- L. M. Jewett . R. E. Hamblin . C. C.
Davidson- A. Lene- L. J. Fenton - J. E Benson. E JJones
J. M Welch. J.P. Wood. F.C. Whiley. H.W. Coultrap- Thomas
Blackstone. I. M Foster - T. R. Biddle and Henry O' Bleness
being a legal quorum of said Board of Trustees nin members
thereof consisting a quorum thereof under the laws of Ohio
The Secretary here read to the Board
the minutes of the Annual meeting of this Board
held June 16. 1903, the adjourned meeting of this board,and
[crossed out] minutes of this Board [end crossed out] held August 28th 1903: and
[nserted] Approval
of Minutes [end inserted] the minutes of the special meeting of this Board held ,
October 2nd 1903, and the minutes of the special meeting
of this board held Dec. 9. 1902- and the minutes of
the called meeting of this Board held Dec 31. 1903, and
the minutes of the called meeting of this board held
May 6. 1904, and on motion duly seconded and
adopted, all of the above named minutes were duly
ratified , confirmed and approved by the board-
[inserted] Excuses for
nonattendance [end inserted] On motion, duly seconded adopted Messrs. Douglas
Boyce and Foraker were excused for non attendance at
this meeting.
On motion of Mr Davidson duly seconded and
adopted the sum of $40.00. was appropriated by the Board
to the Y. W. C A. for the purpsed of defraying their expenses
at the National Convention to be held this year.
