Q. When Lucile & Isabel once went to a medium and were told that your Grandmother, were there, was it true? A. Yes, and I had been sent to keep you both from evils - Isabel has often been my special charge. It is not well for you to seek knowledge from such sources, nor is it necessary, for you are specially blessed in the great and good Insight who has been appointed your teacher.

Q. Can you not answer some questions for me about MMe George Sand and tell me the significance of what we were told about her, that, "she stands so cold and hard? A. I have been to enquire and the person of whom you speak, is only acting in the spirit world as she did in yours, trying to make herself a law, and not willing to

conform to the laws of the world she is in. She is a wonderful spirit in many ways and there is another with her who is quite like her and who was her contemporary in your world. Representation knows them both well and has a mission relating to them and she is very hopeful about both.

Q. What is the name of the other? A. Mary Anne Evans - They are of the same order and Representation wishes you to know about them and says they will yield in time she is sure.

Q. Is there anything we can do here to help such obdurate souls? A. Prayer always helps, for all spirits and all souls are in the Fathers hands.

Q. Did Father see Wayman when he first became conscious in the spirit world? A. It was given him in his first hours of consciousness in the spirit world, to see all his children, just as they

had lefthim, and his Mother (that is myself, came with them, and together we welcomed him in our land. His children are very different in every way, but the pleasure so ardently longed for, is always accorded to good spirits by the dear Lord who understands all earthly longings.

Q. Was Father conscious at the last moment of those around him? A. He was, just at the last movement conscious of friends in both worlds he saw you all and saw also those on the other side.

Q. Were his spiritual eyes open before he passed away from Earth? A. They sometimes are, I have not heard in his case, but I have been told that when he met his friends here, he spoke to those he had left, as if they had come with him and expressed surprise that they were no longer visible - He said "Wayman your mother is just here, by my side

and will be pleased to see you."

Q. Did he not know that he had died? A. He was conscious that he had come here but could not direct himself of the thought that you were still with him.

Q. Did he pass thro' a state of unconsciousness after death? A. Not at the last moment, for he had gone through that. It was to be spared him on this side, for he was worthy of such a boon.

Q. Does father believe in the possibility of these communications now? A. He does believe, for he asked the question when he found that he had really left you and he was told that Insight, of whom he had known, would keep you all. Indeed I always knew he declined in our intercourse, but he had no strength he thought, to give to me and I did not wish him in his last days, to leave his duties for what

would soon be made clear to his mind.

Q. Did you know he was going to leave us when you came to us in St. Louis? A. After he was ill I could see your thoughts of him and I knew he was to come to us, thro' the good spirits who were waiting so eagerly to welcome him. The Guardian Angel always tells of the physical condition of his charge, if it is necessary for any preparation to be made.

Q. (Sally) Are Miss Cushman and her friend Miss Sully together now? A. I do not think they are together, for Representation is such a busy, hard working soul, she has little time for her pleasure. Her pleasure is to work all the time and she has chosen to work among the newly born souls or spirits that come from your earth and to show them, as she so well can, all the possibilities of their new life.
