Dr Sir

At the close of each month you will be furnished with a list of lots not paid for at that date, and you will permit no interments to be made in these lots or in others sold during the month, until you are satisfied either by the deed, or a receipt from the Treasurer that the lot has been paid for

Yours truly

J. W. Lovering Supt.

Mr. Chas. S. S. Lenox Esq

131 Willow St. Brooklyn N.Y.

Dear Sir

Your note of the is at hand. The price for a lot of 300 ft. is $5.00 for care, without plants. If your two Lots viz: 3628 & 3629 were charged in the same proportion the cost would be $900 and $1000 respectively. We will however take care & furnish plants for the same price as last & of the same quality. The care of the lot consists in cutting grass, keeping the sod clean, raking up leaves &c and in every dry seasons like the summer of 1873 the item of watering both, often exceeds the charge for the care of same. Then the flower beds have to receive a certain amt of attention and the myrtle if any to be properly covered for the winter

On the circular you hold you can make the price same as last year and forward

Yours Sincerely

James W Lovering Supt

Dear Sir

Please inform me who acts as your representative with authority in regard to lot 506 Mt Auburn Cemetery. Several parties have been accustomed [to] give orders from time to time. One has placed a letter on file with us directing that no work be done except such as is ordered by him. Another has given orders for certain work and we know not whether to execute it or not

Early attention and a decisive answer will oblige

Yours truly
