That the Treasurer had paid out over
and above what he had collected from
the pew rents 417.86
That the amount of averages
due on pew rents 1385.00
of which we could only expect to collect 365.00
The report was received and it was
Resolved, that a committee be appointed
to address an appeal to the congrega-
tion calling their attention to the defi-
ciency in the income of the Church
and urging them to more earnest
efforts to sustain the Church and
meet its necessary expenses.
The chairman appointed Dr Knox
+ Messrs Potts + Glenn as the committee
who were instructed to report the address
at a subsequent meeting for adoption.
On motion adjourned to meet on
the 10th ensuing.,
