Flour enough to make a thick batter
1 pint of berries or currants [layered?]
with flour [stirred?] in at the last
Boil one hour in buttered mold

Steamed pudding
1 cup Molasses
1 " Suet chopped fine
1 " chopped raisins
1 " Sweet milk 2 and 1/2 or 3 cups of
Flour, salt 1 teaspoonful soda
Steam 2 and 1/2 hours, All [kinds?] spice in pudding
Sauce,
1 cup sugar butter [??] egg Corn starch
to thicken, salt & nutmeg
