Plain Dark Cake
1 and 1/2 cup sugar 2 spoonsful of mollases
1 cup butter 1/2 cup sour milk. 1 spoon
of soda 2 eggs - 2 and 1/2 cups flour all kinds
of spiced currant & raisins.

Jelly cake
3 eggs 1 cup of sugar 1 cup of flour
1 teaspoonful of cream tartar 1/2 soda dissolved
in two table spoonsful of milk beat all
well together, when baked spread with jelly

Cream pies
3 eggs - 2 cups flour - 1 cup sugar
2 tea spoons cream tartar 1 of soda salt
2 or 3 spoonsful of cream or milk is good

The cream
The yolks of the eggs for frosting/
besides - 2 cups milk 1 cup sugar
2 spoons of flour, stir till smooth in
cold milk then boil [flour?]
This makes two pies
