Parker house rolls
2 quarts of Flour. 1 pint scalded milk
2 tables spoonsful sugar . Yeast.
Another
One quart of cold boiled milk, 2 quarts
flour one spoonful lard or butter
rubbed into the flour make a hole
in the middle of the flour take one cup
of yeast 1/2 cup of sugar- add to the milk
& pour into the flour butter salt
let it stand till morning then knead
it hard & let it rise, when it rises
out & stir it down nead again &
form in afternoon. cut out ready to bake
& let it rise again. Bake twenty minutes

Graham rolls
1 egg 1 teaspoon shortening 2 cups sour milk little [?]
1 teaspoon soda a little wheat flour, Graham [enough?] for thick
batter

Graham bread
1 quart warm water 1 cup [?] 1 cup yeast 1 teaspoon soda stick
enough to cleave from the dish
