Coffee Cake
1 2/3 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 c sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
- Sift together
cut in 1/4 c spry.
Combine 1 beaten egg & 2/3 c milk
Turn liquid into dry ingredients
Stir vigorously. Pour in muffin
pans 400 degrees or 1-8 inch pan.
Topping
6 tbs flour
1/4 c brown
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tbs butter
2 tbs Spry

shortening, add sugar gradually
and cream until light & fluffy
add eggs, fruit, peel, nuts,
honey, molasses, & cider. Add
flour gradually. Turn into 2
8 x 8 x 2 in pans which have been greased
lined with heavy paper & again greased.
275 degrees 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
