[Left Page] [Sunday, May 18] I went to Roy Slaton's this afternoon & stayed while Rex was gone to Mr. Ira Castlebery funernal. Mr & Mr[s]. Preston came to Roy's soon after I arrived and spent the afternoon.

[Right Page] [Monday, May 19] I washed today. I don't feel so well this afternoon.

[Left Page] [Tuesday, May 20] I ironed & mended the clothes today. andrew came this afternoon.

[Right Page] [Wednesday, May 21] I have cleaned up the house. Rex went to town this afternoon & I went to see Sis. I got a letter from Mother. She says she doesn't feel so well. She says she doesn't want Rex to come for her until next week as she has 5 hens she wants to hatch before she comes

[Cont. on Left Page] Jay, John Marion and Rex went to Carl's tonight to a party. I went & stayed with alma. Earl & Leonah have been married 25 years. Rex, Jay, John & Mr. Warner Slaton worked with a cow nearly all the rest of the night The calf is dead.

[Left Page] [Thursday, May 22] I washed a few pieces and have done the general house work. Rex & Jay went to uncle Gus's and got the Refrigerator we bought from him. It rained a little this afternoon. Cecil Hanner came this afternoon. Mrs. Gipson came a little while also.

[Right Page] [Friday, May 23] I have done the general house work this morning. Rex went to the Tile Factory after some tile and I went to Mrs. Rodgers & stayed while he was gone & got some greens. Betty Sue Steuve was there. Fern came this afternoon & will spend the night. We made some cream tonight. The ice man came today & says they will come when they can get over the roads.

[Left Page] [Saturday, May 24] Jay, Rex & I went to town today and I spent the day with Jessie. Lawrence is sick & has seen in bed most of the day.

[Right Page] [Sunday, May 25] Rex went to Cousin Will Wilson's to get the cattle back in the field. I went to see Sis. Lawrence, Gene, Lin, Jessie, Hermon, aunt Cattie, John & alma were there. They spent the day with Sis. Joseph and Jim came in the afternoon. Lawrence is better.

[Left Page] [Monday, May 26] I cleaned up the house & hemned a dress.

[Right Page] [Tuesday, May 27] Rex & I washed today. Rex went down in the anton section and to town after some ice as the ice man failed to come today. I went to alma's and spent the afternoon with her.
