February 23

1931. Came to town this morning & listened to Rev. Anderson preach over the Radio. Went to school today. Read the funny papers this afternoon.

1932. Went to school today studied English some tonight.

1933. Sis & I ironed this morning and we worked on my quilt some this afternoon. Len, Lawrence & Jim came a while this afternoon.

1934. I got breakfast, dinner and ironed today. Sis came home this afternoon. Jim came a little while this afternoon.

1935. My cold isn't any better. Dock is some better. Joseph, Ruby and Jim came this afternoon. Sis went to town this afternoon. Rex went to town this morning.

February 24

1931. Went to school today. Studied on English this afternoon. Mrs. Mann went to teachers meeting tonig-ht [tonight]. Ernest & myself stayed at home.

1932. Went to school today, and studied a little tonight. I got a letter from Cosby today.

1933. Sis and I worked on my quilt some today. Fletcher came a little while this afternoon. Elizabeth is a good deal better today.

1934. I got breakfast, washed the dishes, helped clean up the house and patched some today. Earl and John Marion ate dinner with us. It has snowed all day. Sis and I put in a comfort this afternoon. Rex and I went to Aunt Jessie's tonight and are going to spent the night with them. Joseph is going to spend the night with Mr. Slaton, Sis and Dock.

1935. Mr. & Mrs. Rigney, Loyd, Modest, Ruby, Jasper, John Marion, Fletcher, Stella and Buck James come this afternoon. Dock is some better today.
