Mother and myself played rook tonight. 1932. Didn't get to go home today. Ernest and I wen't to town a little while this afternoon. 1933. Rex, Sis and I wen't to see some people near Todd's School- -house this afternoon. We were [ chivalieed?] tonight. 1934. Rex is better today. We killed hogs today. Earl, June, Jim, John Marion & albert ate dinner with us I helped Jim & John Marion cut up the meat for the lard. I made sausage's sacks tonight while Sis & Dock sacked the sausage. 1935. I went to Mrs. Rigney's today to the missionary meeting. Mrs. Roy Slaton, Elizabeth and Ruby Goings & I wen't to see Mrs. [Will] Vannoy a little while this afternoon She isn't any better. January 31 1931. Stayed at home all day and studied my English lesson. Cosby came in the afternoon. 1932. Mrs. Mann, Ernest & I wen't to sunday school at the mission this afternoon. and we wen't to B. Y P. U. and church tonight. 1933. Evelyn came this afternoon. Sis and Dock washed this afternoon. Since Miss Nannie is my Sister-in-law I am going to call her Sis like Rex does. 1934. I have been sick today. havn't done scarcely any work except wash the dishes and get dinner. 1934. I made some soap, cleaned up the house, got dinner & supper today. I wen't to see Mrs. Denton this afternoon, she is a lot worse. [Jin?] & Jess spen't the day at Jim's.
