Came to town this morning and went to school. Got out of Shorthand final. Went to see Alline & studied on English a little. 1932. Went to school today, we had our Shorthand final this afternoon. I got a letter from Cosby today. 1933. I mailed a letter to Rex and [?] some today. Mother and I played Rum tonight. 1934. I have ironed today & did the general house work. Jasper ate dinner with us. Mrs. Harris, Sterling, Joe Frank, Mr. & Mrs. Davis Scott, Amelia, Evelyn, Joseph, & John Marion came tonight. Joe Frank, Sterling, and Davis played music for us. 1935. Dock, Rex & Sis went to Mrs. Parrish's funeral & burial this afternoon. Mr. Slaton is nearly sick today so I stayed at home with him. Jan. 13 [right hand page] 1931. I went to school today. Got out of English final. Got a letter from Cosby. I made 98 on Bible club. 1932. Went to school & took 3 finals today. Constance came a little while tonight. Ernest, Constance & myself played Snap a while tonight. Friday 13th 1933. I am nearly sick today. Haven't done anything except a little sewing. Mother and I played Rum tonight. 1934. Rex and I went to town today and I went to see Mrs. Mann a little while. 1935. Samey[?] Forster[?] spend the day with us. Joe & Earl came a little while this afternoon.
