OCTOBER 14

1931. Went to school today
typed a little while after
school. Went to church
tonight.

1932. Dad & I went to town
today and I took dinner with
Mrs. Mann & went to see
Aunt Ermie also.

1933. Joseph went home this
morning. Rex, Mr. Slaton & Dock
came home this afternoon. Rex & I
went to town this afternoon. We
went to Mother's late this
afternoon & spent the night
with her.

1934. Sis went to Sunday School but I didn't
go. I stayed at home & got dinner. Fletcher,
Stella, Rex & I went diving this afternoon.
We stopped at Semiway and saw Mr.
Bryant a little while.

1935. I got dinner & cleaned up
the house. I wrote a letter to
Mother today. Rex & William Slaton
went to town tonight to hear Hon A.O.
Stanley speak. John Marion came a
little while tonight.

OCTOBER 15

1931. Went to school today
I made 82 on a Geometry
test today. Went to
Church tonight.

1932. I cleaned up the house this
morning. Ocie & Baby came a little
while this afternoon.

1933. Rex & I spent the day with
Mother & Dad. We took a walk
this afternoon & went to Uncle
Brock's. Rex & I came home this
afternoon.

1934. Kate washed for us today. I
cleaned up the house, got dinner &
sewed some this morning. I
ironed some this afternoon. Sis ironed
some after she came home from
school.

1935. Dock & I washed this morning &
I got dinner. Rex is working on the
road today. I churned this afternoon
and read some. Sis and I
went to Church tonight. Rev. Moore,
the new preacher at Browders did
the preaching. Earl came a little
while tonight.
