On this 14th day of June AD 1892

Personally appeared before the undersigned
Parker P Miller of Richhill Township in the said
county being duly sworn says that from his
best information he believes that two dogs
owned and kept by John Burnfield in the
said township did on or about June 8th 1892
did wound and kill four of his sheep and
further damage his flock [& e]

Whereupon notice was issued and served
by Charles Patterson on S.H. Barnett personally
Barnett agreeing to notify S Grim being two of
the auditors of said township.
And now June 17th 1892 Received the following
report, (Namely) we the undersigned auditors of
Richhill Tp Greene Co PA having been summoned
according to law to appear on the premises of P. Miller
for the purpose of appraising the damage to flock of sheep
caused by dog or dogs of John Burnfield. Proven by
Jane Carroll. Find the loss and damage to be twenty
two dollars with costs $22.00
