Personally appeared Henry Jacobs of
Richhill township Greene County Pa
before the undersigned and makes
complaint that on Monday night last
past he had some of his sheep killed
wounded and others damaged by some dog or dogs.

Whereupon upon notice was issued and served
upon Samuel Grim & S H Barnett two
of the auditors of said township and
whereas the said auditors after making
dilligent inquery in relation to said
claim submit the following report
March 22 1892 find two killed valued $8.00
and damage to flock 13.00
less two pelts got by owner 1.00
auditor S H Barnett fees 2.70

Personally appeared before the undersigned one of the Justices of the Peace
in and for the said county Henry Jacobs who being duly sworn deposes and says that
on Monday the 26 day of December 1892 three dogs belonging to David Courtwright in the towns-
hip of Richhill in the said county did wound & damage three of his sheep & otherwise damage the flock.
whereupon notice was issued and served personally on auditor S H Barnett by the complainant
in persuance of said notice two of the auditors of said township did examine the [premises]
on Dec 31st/92 find from the evidence that three (3) dogs belonging to David Courtwright was caught
on the flock of sheep of 54 head belonging to said Jacobs with two badly wounded and others injured.
with damage as follows. Damage eight dollars with costs of action as follows
now Jan 4th 1893 certificate issued
to the Honorable School Board of
Richhill township Greene County Pa
for the plff.
